Tourism: Recycled Train Carriage for AccommodationLoad Transported: A renovated 16m long, 22T rail carriage Transport: Cotton Heavy Haulage Ltd. From the Pahiatua Track by road to Wellington, crossing with Strait Shipping to Picton, then by road to Havelock. The destination had no heavy vehicle access, so there was a 2 hours barge trip to deliver the recycled carriage. Client: The rail carriage had been converted into two accommodation units for On The Track Lodge, Nydia Bay, Marlborough Sounds. |
